This is a tool to give you easy access to the MP3 files stored on your iPod by making the files visible in a "Music" folder at the root level of the iPod. Inside that folder will be subfolders labeled "F00—Fxx" inside those folders is your music. You can drag either the "Music" folder or any of the "Fxx" folders to iTunes to import that music into a library so it can be played from the iPod.

Warning: Do NOT rename or move any file or "Fxx" folder. If you do, certain songs on your iPod will cease to play properly through the iPod's interface. However, editing ID3 tags via iTunes is perfectly acceptable and your changes will be updated in your main library the next time the iPod is synced.

This script will only work in OSX and it is Panther compatible.
