YA MP3 File Converter 1.2.1 for Macintosh

Converts generic .mp3 icons downloaded from the internet into files that you can double click on to open with various popular MP3 players. Files dropped onto the script will be given specified creator and file types, so that you can assign mp3s to certain mp3 players. The script will only operate on files which can be identified as mp3s by their file type and creator, and/or end with ".mp3". YA MP3 File Converter supports 5 different mp3 players: MacAMP/MacAMP Lite, MPEG Audio Player, Quicktime, SoundJam, and SoundApp. It can recognize files from them and assign files to them. Modify the list of available players, so that you can add your own, or remove ones you don't want.

If you want to change the mp3 player which files will be assigned to, after initially choosing it, either run the script by double clicking it, or hold down the command key after dragging items onto it.

License information: This script is freeware/open source, but it IS NOT public domain.
