Software Description

MP3 CD Maker works with a CD recorder to create audio CDs from collections of MP3 audio files. MP3 CD Maker directly converts MP3 files into CD audio format. It can also decode any MP3 file into WAV or raw audio format. A normalization feature lets you ensure that all MP3s in a set have the same volume level. This is actually a bigger deal than just downloading some software. You want to eliminate as much noise as possible, too. You need an 1/8" to RCA, stereo, shielded cable. Don't lay the cable parallel to other cables, particularly the power cable. Don't use the computer for any other purpose while you're recording. You need to blast the recording level up high. And then when it's all done, you have to go and manually remove the remaining noise with your software.

Take CDex, it's a freeware (download.com), then go to "tools", and "record from analog in", but you must have an analog in on your soundcard...
