: If you go to www.goldhawk.com and download cdrwin 3.9e Free you can copy your cd+g tracks providing you have a compatible disc driver like a plextor. You can then copy them onto discs as you want. It is the only way to copy these bin files : : : Can an Iomagic DVD+-Rw drive burn CD+G files? : : : : : : i need help to download cdgs & how to burn them : : : : : : : : When you find out will you let me know I have been posting messages to no avail. : : : : Thank you : : : : Ellen : : : Besides the legal issues, this is a difficult subject. Not all CDRW drives support CD+G burning. Plextor is my favorite. Karaoke CD+G disks are essentially red-book audio cd's with simple graphics interwoven between the data tracks. I have been searching hard to find code to decode/encode these graphics segments so that I can develop some Linux rip/play software for Karaoke. www.karaokeplayground.co.uk has the most information on CD+G file formats that I have found. GoldenHawk's CDRWIN software is promoted as the best windows based software for burning CD+G disks. The MP3+G Toolz software converts downloaded or ripped .mp3/.cdg files into a .BIN that CDRWIN understands as a track. I have invested significant cash into Dart Karaoke creator to build these .BIN files, and have had limited success burning CD+G's. Contact me directly if you need more information.
