weird i came across this while looking for the answer myself but have since found it. just control click that area at the top of itunes where those tags are and a bunch of menu options pop up. whats even better is u can take out some others like the stupid rating...

: I have been using the Cubic Carrot Beat Counter, and it updates the comment field in the id3 v1 tag, but I cannot get it to update the id3 v2.3 BPM tag that I need to view the info from itunes for my ipod. Can anyone help?
