Software Description
mp3DirectCut is a fast and extensive audio editor and recorder for MP3. You can directly cut, copy, paste or change the volume with no need to decompress your files for audio editing. This saves encoding time and preserves the original quality, because nothing will be re-encoded. The built in recorder creates MP3 "on the fly" from an audio input. Using Cue sheets, pause detection or Auto cue you can easily divide long files

Direct Cut Lives up to Name !
This program was perfect for what I wanted. It worked great for removing all the startlingly loud "artifacts" or glitches from my mp3s. It was easy to cut numerous segments all in one fell swoop when you hit save and there was no need to re-encode or re-join so no quality is lost and no extra hard drive space is required. The graphical representation is decent and it's easy to play the file to hear where you're at. A small but powerful program. After searching all night and finding nothing but limiting shareware I can finally rest easy. Thank you !
