WMA8 offers better, smaller downloads.
Microsoft are battling both RealNetworks and MP3 with the release of Windows Media Audio and Video 8. Windows Media Audio 8 delivers the same quality as MP3 at nearly one-third the size, according to claims posted on the Microsoft Site. Windows Media Audio offers: - Near-CD Quality now at 48kbps
- CD Quality at 64kbps
- Unmatched Fidelity at any Level
- Integrated Digital Rights Management
- Full Compatibility with Windows Media Player 7, Windows Media Player 6.4, and all consumer electronic devices supporting Windows Media Audio.
