Spinal Tap speak out on Napster
Spinal Tapster Musicians, music-lovers and record company slaves are divided about Napster. But the Tap know where its all headed. They've embraced MP3 because it sounds like crap and lets them get away with mistakes. Now they're giving away their music so they can all get rich quick from really, really getting to know people and take their money!

In this exclusive statement at ArtistDirect, the guys have chosen to remain anonymous by sitting in a darkened room. In great detail and candour, they explain why they've decided to give away their latest song and reveal how they feel about the culture of MP3.

"Napster's a bit complicated, really, what with all of the songs available," said Spinal Tap's Nigel Tufnel in a recent anonymous press release. "One of the brilliant things about Tapster is that there's only one song to choose from."
