.rmx files won't play now at all!
Posted by kshuba on January 20, 2003 at 18:53:02:

I bought a new computer, took my old HDD and now used it as slave(D:\), tried to transfer, unlock & restore my security defaults with a floppy, and use my .rmx files in and from Realjukebox Plus. They won't play. Called RealNetworks, the two different Help guys gave me two different "security issue" solutions, none of them worked. The 3rd guy convinced me to install their new RealOne player for my XP system on my (C:\)
HDD, and try to import and unlock them. Well I have the new RealOne player, but still no .rmx files! They wouldn't import, but they transfered over to my C:\, just not in the RealOne player.
I still have them on both drives now, just can't play them! Would they import to WinAmp, or MusicMatch jukeboxes instead (Haven't tried those, but if anyone thinks it will, I'll download them)??? Why won't they play when I click on them? Any answers to these would be greatful!
I have over 100 songs with that .rmx extension. Does anyone have a solution to this major problem?? Please HELP!!!!!
