Message:	: : The problem is when i play mp3s on my D: (second hdd) it skips parts of the mp3 which is annoying. I thought it was the player so i changed the players from winamp2, winamp3 and windows media player and all of them do the same. Im completly baffled how to fix this. ( i have tried defragging, norton utils, scandisk, etc ) and it is still doing the same. : : please help me : : cheeers : ______________________________ : I was just cruising thro Mr Google links for an unrelated MP3 troubleshooting hunt and came across ur post. : Ur player is skipping while on the D-Drive most probably because you have not enabled DMA for that drive. : Chuck "enabling DMA" +",insert operating system here>" into Mr Google or ur fav search engine and start looking for instructions to enable Direct Memory Access (if available) for all ur drives.
