MP3 files sound garbled after downloading them?
Posted by AL Barnes on December 28, 2002 at 06:54:16:

Can anyone offer up a possible cause or solution to my problem?

Recently I tried to uplod a couple of mp3 files so different websites only to find that once up on site, they played back with pops, breaks and very very poor quality. If I downdload the files they sound okay.

I run two networked pc's with broadband connection and have wiped both machines, re-installed win 98 on both, left then un-connected and tried to upload again but the problem persists.

What could be causing this does anyone know. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
AL
