It's pretty simple if it's a good player like an iRiver...

You burn the MP3's as a data-CD.

However, you must avoid doing a packet-written CD like DirectCD makes. You should burn with EasyCD 4.0 or greater, or Nero 3.5 or greater, or the equivalent of either of these two programs.

I'd say for extra safety the CD should be burned in "Mode 1" and with Joliet turned off, if these settings are available to you. Also, burn in Disc-At-Once (DAO) mode rather than Track-At-Once (TAO) mode.

If this doesn't help. please post back in greater detail and I'll see what else I can do for you.
