Message:	: : I am able to record one CD onto another via Nero, but why can I not select tracks from the CD and add them to a compilation? : since it's been a while since i used the program myself, i'm a bit rusty on the various terminology, but make sure you are not doing a "cd to cd COPY",or a "disc at once" copy, as that would do just that... make a copy of what is actually on the original cd... and you can't change it... : you would probably need to do a "track at once" copy and not "finalize" the cd untill all tracks have been recorded (switching original cds for each track). or, put a copy of all the various tracks needed for the compilation on your HDD temporarily (again switching original cds many tines... <g>), "THEN" you can burn a cd "disc at once" : i think that should work for you using just the programs you have already.
