: I have an older (Circa 2000) Sharp MD-MT-15 mini disc player and want to record on the disc from my microphone and then copy to my computer and eventually upload to my podcast.. What do i need?

: Thanks

Hi
The easiest method would be to use a stereo 1/8inch jack lead to go straight from your mini disc to your computer sound card, then yuo would need an MP3 converter to convert the files to mp3 - serach for "lame".
There are other more complex ways that will give you better quality, but I dont think it is worth it with early mini-disc compression - also you are intending to compress it again.

Good luck!
