Message:	: : Hi Help Needed, : : I have loads and loads of Midi files on my computer and want to turn them into great sounding backing tracks. : : I was using a roland keyboard to get the sounds then editing the key, endings etc and recording to mini disc for performing with. : : At present tho I do not own a keyboard just a Mac with garageband, so I thought of software which plays midis to a performance standard, (i.e. top brand karaoke/backing track quality). : : I do have a usb to phono adapter so could record straight from mac to mini disc but dont mind going via CD TO MINIDISC. : : It's the software part I 'm not experienced in, I did like the Roland sounds and have used Ketron also but cant afford another workstation type keyboard - just need the sounds, and the ability to chop my mdi's about and change keys drum patterns/loops etc : : Hope Ive hit the right site here and your help is more than appreciated.
