Message:	: : i m having similar problems with my CDRW when I tried to start Nero displayed Win-ASPI Error 16:No Adapters. Well I tried upgrading Nero it is now Nero V 5.5.10.56. That did not work so I downloaded Adaptecs aspi_471a2.exe and ran an aspichk.exe this showed that APIX.VXD and WNASPI32.DLL and says ASPI is properly installed and fully operational. However when I go to restart Nero even after rebooting the system it still does not work and I still get the "Win-ASPI Error 16:No Adapters" message. I am running Windows XPP SP2 . Any help would be greatly appreciated!
