Message:	: Hi everyone : I'm very new to all this dj software (http://www.mp3machine.com/win/MIXING_DJ/ for example) and I'm searching for a program that would serve two goals : replacing a real mixing table and yet soothing my will to mix music, and well... playing the DJ at parties. : Problem is, : **I don't know what software to use** : , there are so many. I've only tried "virtual dj 4.0" so far, it looks great, but who knows, maybe there is even better. : I've got a motherboard-integrated soundcard (MB = ASUS A7V8X-X) with the SoundMax digital audio pilot (shitty for a DJ I guess) and what I want is : : - the basics : fluid transitions between songs (effects, fading...), a playlist... : -jingles and effects, rapidly accessible : -a sound input not only from MIC and hard drive, but also from internet : -a couple of easy to use digital timecodes : -and (I don't think this is possible) separate audio channels (one for headphone output, one for the stereos). : Virtual DJ does just about all of this, execpt internet streaming and maybe separate audio channels, but I'd like to know what y'all think. : By the way, music lovers, www.pandora.com is a must.
