: Long story short (actually short story shorter)
: Bought Toshiba Gigabeat MP3 player,
: loaded all my mp3's on it
: hardrive wiped
: all mp3's on the player are encrypted or something, with the extension ".mp3.SAT"
: Anyone got an idea of how to fix this?
: Cheers, Dan

Dan
Many people have had this problem and the only solution is to use Windows Media Player. If you sync with WMP all of your music will be placed back on your HD in a normal MP3 format. Depending on how many GIGS your have on your player it will take a while, but it's better than losing everythign :)
PEACE

Michael
