ONKI MV-800 Undetected

Hey
I just brought an ONKI MV-800 and when i go to plug it into my computer to put songs on it, there is no respone from the computer. On the MP3 player it comes up with "Connected" for a second then goes away. So i am unable to put any muisic on it. I am currently running Windows XP so i dont need any drivers. Any help would be appriciated.
