That's not true at all,
I've got a Plextor Plexwriter 40x12x40a and i'm using Nero 5.5.8.0 and i have this problems too, but a friend of mine has an 24x10x40x Plextor too and is using the same version of Nero, But he has not problemss during burning on 800mb cd's
