Visual Land VL 546 Low Volume Problem

I have had both good and bad luck with this unit, but now, every movie that I put on this player has extremely low volume. When I first got it, I didn't have this problem at all, and my music files still sound real good. Its just the movie files that are a problem. I have the most recent utilities version I think, Mp3 player utilities 3.57. Anyone have any ideas?
