Well, I was holding out for... I don't even know, really. The whole p2p thing is so precarious, with all those dark forces lined up to take it over. It's disgusting how they moralize when they want us to just quit what we're doing and behave. But they - namely those who want to make money off of this technology, one way or another - don't really care about right and wrong. They just want something that works great all for themselves.

I thought Morpheus 2 would be out by now. I was also looking to try something new, since I've got windows XP home and figured that the newer the file sharing technology, the safer it would be for me to use. Morpheus (pre Preview) was great, when it worked. But it crashed repeatedly on me. Funny thing is, It turned out to be spyware, mainly. Well, I've since gotten rid of spyware (I hope). Therefore, When I downloaded and installed Kazaa Lite a couple of days ago, after running Ad Aware and a few other ad cleaning progs, I was disappointed to see Kazaa crash repeatedly on me.

Also, I got rid of as much Morpheus as I could. But I couldn't get rid of it all. My OS seems to not want to cooperate. It would probably cooperate better with someone who's computer smart. I'm not. But this is too much. As the sole user, with admin rights, I should be able to delete any file or folder I want. But I can't. Talk about frustrating. (If they are audio files, I can send them to my otherwise useless Windows Media Player and delete them from my hard drive from there. Thanks Microslop. They couldn't let me do that simple task, where and when I want to. I have to use their miserable player to kill some of my audio files, which just reminds me of the pain I went through with that program before I learned to stay well away from it.)

I don't know whether my problem is rooted in that inability or not, but all of my downloads with Kazaa Lite - which I've uninstalled and re-installed, to no avail - end up duplicated. (I also deleted all of my audio files in trying to correct this problem. That was painful.) Every file is stated twice. I can't delete either 'statement'. Deleting one file kills the track. If someone has some insight on this which they'd like to share with me, I'd be most appreciative. Tracks that I save/copy from my audio CDs are fine. They are stated once. I see no doubles.
