Message:	: : I am having the same problem. My firmwares are from the install disk though. I figured they would be good. My computers dont reconize the player and I can not turn it off!!! It just sits there with a green screen. : : plz help if u can... : I dont get a display only light but it still plays.Try this uninstall drivers etc reboot your computer re install drivers etc reboot computer then plug usb into computer then plug in the player. you should get the green arrow icon in bottom right of screen, try and get into the disk format program this is hard enough but if you can give it a low format which takes bout ten minutes.it should be in reasonable working order from there on!Good luck!!!
