need help asap on d/loading music

I have a Visual Land mp3/mp4 player and I just cannot download music onto it. I insert the usb cable and it picks it up and when i go to my computer there is no drive for the mp3/mp4 player. Im running Windows 98 SE and have media player 7.1. I've installed everything that was on the cd provided with the player. Can I have feedeback asap please....??
