800MB CD's don't conform to RedBook standard in any way, shape or form. That's why it doesn't recognise it. Your CD-RW would most likely not be able to burn it anyway. Also, your stereo would never be able to play it. Using 700MB CD's is enough of a stretch over the RedBook standards; in fact some new players are still made that have problems reading 700MB CD's.
In short, you're not getting any help. Return the 800MB CD's and get 650MB or 700MB CD's.
