I am not by any means novice with computer software, but for some reason this thing is making me feel like an idiot!

I have windows XP and I installed the driver from the disc as well as the ripper, the ripper doesn't function correctly, the filemanager in it says it is not installed, and it made me install some update that said it was for windows 95??? But yet the thing wouldn't work on my mom's Win 98 platform!

I am sooooooooooooooooo confused, please HELP ME!!!!

I somehow got all my MP3s to transfer to the folder I created in it before the riper was installed, and the player says its memory is full, but it doesn't play anything, it just keeps turning off no matter what I push..... this thing is the biggest piece of...........grrrr
