: Okay, I have a MyMusix MP3 player with a 1 GB SD card, and I'm trying to load it up with music. There are no drivers involved, in fact that was part of their ad as well as "Holds up to 500 songs". It's all plug and play, click and drag. Everything seems to be going fine until I get to 585 MB and it won't add anymore, and still claims I have 378 MB left of free space and only about 130 songs transfered on the disk.. if I delete a song and add a different one, it'll work, but I'd like to fill the card up, and not leave it half empty. What's the problem, and how can I fix it?? : Exact message reads: : ___________________________________ : Cannot create or replace (file name): The directory or file cannot be created. : --End of error. Help me before I destroy this thing out of anger. I had the same problem. Here is the solution : You can only put so many files in the root directory od the card. If you create a file folder say "music" or any other name , now you can put your 1 gb of mp3 files in that folder. glad to help
