depending on what type of vocal and where the sound is in the track you can partially remove vocals although at a cost of the strenght what is left. you can segment certain aspects of a track by inverting wavs and using the l/r channels to segment sounds occuring on either channel. If the vocal is centered it may be posible. Also you can use specific range filtering but you will loose anyother sounds that are at that exact sound level... I have also heard of a good old stereo kareoke??? pardon my spelling machine that was pretty good... I dont think it is a easy process.. by the time you figure how to do it perfect you might as well have learned to play the instraments involved and develop a good ear... wish you luck.. if you do figure it out please share..
: It's been asked dozens of times here before. The answer is no, it's not possible to remove the voice or an instrument from a song, because CD's and MP3's are stereo, not multitrack.
