While you are technically correct, I hope you have not confused the questioner. For the most part, CD audio tracks look and act much like files when you're ripping them to WAV or MP3.

: They're fake files displayed by windows to represent the tracks on the CD. Audio-CD's don't have any file structure... it's just an index and a bitstream.
