Song Order?

For christmas I recieved a SanDisk cruiser micro and the "mp3 companion". I have loaded songs onto it, have everything in the order I want it in when it is stil in the computer, yet when I put the USB drive into the mp3 player, the song order that I had on the computer is messed up.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
