Yepp Explorer and XP SP2 don't mix? (YP-700H)
Posted by Sanza on November 29, 2004 at 19:19:14:

I recently (finally) installed SP2 for XP and now I can't transfer songs to my Yepp YP-700H. Well, I suppose I can but it's not that easy. One or two songs will transfer and then when when Yepp Explorer tries to get the new file information from player, the program hangs. Sometimes it "can not connect" other times it just hangs there. I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL and exit the app that way. If I've transferred 2 songs, the first will be on the player but the last one won't. Transferring 3 songs is out of the question. I am still able to load the player using my laptop, but my laptop is ancient and does not have a DVD drive it. And I ripped all my CD's and saved them to 18 DVDs which are I can't use in the laptop. I've searched fairly well on the Samsung site, but dealing with them is a pain in the _ss. They seem to do most of their business overseas. Does anyone know of any updates to get this to work and where I can find them?
