 Nero Wave Editor changing bitrate...grrrrrrrr
Posted by Red on January 07, 2008 at 13:05:33:

I’m hoping you will be able to assist me on this since I have ‘googled’ my problem, thinking others must be suffering the same fate, but all to no avail.

I am currently using Nero Ultra v6.6.1.4 (having previously installed the over inflated 7 which I swiftly removed lol). However, I have been happily editing my mp3 files for many months using the Wave Editor only to discover today that after I have finished editing the mp3 and clicked on ‘Save’, the original bitrate of the mp3 has been changed by the Editor…. GRRRRR.

I have therefore concluded that I have ruined a number of tracks by assuming incorrectly that the original bitrate would not be affected. Indeed, I really cannot understand why this is so.

I appreciate I could choose to ‘Save As’, and load settings individually to be the same as the input bitrate, but quite honestly that seems to me to be a right pain and extremely time consuming.

Any assistance/advice you can give me would therefore be very much appreciated.
