I can't get any mp3 sites to connect. Help!!!

I have tried Kazaa, Limewire, Winmx,Morpheus,Ares Bearshare and none will connect. I had no trouble when I used dialup now I have DSL and I can't. I have XP and the Firewall is not enabled. Would there be something with DSL that I need to do?
