 Odyssey 300 under linux
Posted by Brian on June 22, 2004 at 14:12:55:

Greetings!

I've got an Odyssey 300 MP3 player, that I would like to use with my Linux PC. I believe it shows up as a standard USB mass storage device. I want software that will let me "manage" the songs on the player, but I want it to be like the windows software for my old Rio 500, where it would let me transcode to a lower bit rate on-the-fly as I transfer songs to the device to fit more songs in at a time.

Is there anything like that out there for Linux?

Thanks!
Brian
