Thank you ever so much for replying. The mp3 is about 45 minutes. I used the demo from Nero first - it kept saying not enough memory on cd. Then I used windows media player - it did the "reading" (or is it verifying - I cannot remember) thing, then the conversion thing but only up to 99% then suddenly it said error - it said that the media player could not write to the cd .
I thought maybe something is wrong with the cd-r itself so I tried copying data files using nero - it was okay.
thanks in advance if you have any suggestions/solutions.
: Yes, the size gets much bigger after conversion because most CD players can only read "CDDA" ("compact disc digital audio") which takes about 10MB per minute, so when your make an "audio CD" in your burning program, it is converting your MP3's to CDDA tracks.
: The real question is, why is it not working? You could help me determine this for you by telling me what program you're using to burn, and what kind of error you're getting from the program, if any.
