Toshiba sucks ass I spent 2500 dollars on a laptop and they sent me one of these buggy pieces of crap too and I too am experiencing the same problems as all of you. An the key board buttons stick and they won't waranty it for me cause they say they won't warranty plastic. the key stays down for a day if I push it. How good is the laptop with no c key or warranty. I want to through it in the garbage with this piece of crap mp3 player and buy a Dell. Toshiba sucks I won't give them anymore of my money:

: I have the Toshiba MEA220 MP3 player. When I put a music CD in my CD-ROM drive and go to the Library Maneger it reads .TAF on the File Name. So when I go to pull up a song with another media player it does read that type of file. Or if I go to Windows Explorer, to C:/ drive and click on SD_ALIB then to Contents it comes up with the song files but they are still file type .TAF and even songs that I loaded from my computer to the Library Maneger come up as .TAF My computer doesn't read this file type and I've never seen it before. How do I convert a .TAF file to .MP3 or .WAV? And how can my computer be able to read a song file without using the Toshiba Audio Maneger?

:
: Bad news...The MEA220 is a complete piece of crap. Sorry, but I am also stuck with one. Anyway, .TAF if a proprietary file format: nothing else will work with this type of file; nothing! The Audio Manager software is a piece of buggy, crashing junk and as far as I know Toshiba has never fixed it. TAF files and the Audio Manager software are all part of Toshiba's touted "security" system. Supposed to make certain that we don't put the same files on the player more than three times. It's supposed to provide some sort of comfort to the recording industry. Screw you Toshiba. I'll never buy one of your products again. Everyone I know owns the iPOD and swears by it. If I ever want an MP3 player I'll get that or somebody's clone.
