There are two types of CD burner software and you may have the wrong one loaded. Audible customer service can tell you how to load the correct one. Be aware that the CDs created are in Wav format which defeats the purpose to my way of thinking because they require so many CDs

: No but they certainly imply that you can burn them to CD. However the miserable tool supplied craps out every time with a 'SCSI error'. It wouldn't mind so much if I had any SCSI devices! Also I don't think the sound quality is that great - surely its not in mono! Next time I will buy the CD online - what a waste of time and money.

: : Audible is great, I don't know what all the whining is about. Get one of their free Otis players (with a listener subscription) and download to that. If you insist on converting to MP3 -- I have done that but see no good reason to except to add them to my Archos -- Audible Manager 4.0 does not work well with Goldwave. 3.5 works fine. No where on the Audible site do they imply these are standard MP3 files.
