 Magic Star Combo won't switch on

Hi all,
I have an MP3 Player Magic Star Combo MP1003 which will not switch on when I press the button. It works when i'im running it on the USB port of my computer. I'ts not the batteries, because when I remove it from the USB prot, it works fine and is switched on. Must be the firmware which is damaged.
Anyone can tell me where to find firmware-update on the web?
