Message:	: I've found that the company that designed the classic CHD500 and its drivers is actually fifteenseven http://www.f7tech.com/sm500.html If we could find another company that built a MP3 player using the fifteenseven reference design perhaps they would have a newer firmware available for download. Unfortunately I have not been able to find any. Although I am one of the ppl who flashed to 1.003 trying to fix the CHD500's numerous problems, even if someone did still have the 2.005 firmware, how would they copy it off? You can't find the firmware anywhere on the drive before or after it is flashed.
