help needed! installing Musicmatch Jukebox 8.2

I really want to get into the legal download scene, but am getting really frustrated! I have a P-III laptop, 30 Gig hard drive, 384 Mb RAM, net connection is AO(hel)L 9.0 and OS is Win ME.
I've managed to download the Musicmatch Jukebox Basic install file. After downloading the program, I get through 72% of the install and then the error message pops up:
"An error occurred while launching the setup. (0x80040705)"
I've tried to check the Windows Knowledge Base, with no results. I've tried to search the Musicmatch knowledge base, with no results, and they refuse to help anyone who doesn't shell out for the Plus version. --If I can't get the *basic* version to run, why do they think I'll spend the money to buy the **full** one?!?!? (OK, calming down, taking deep breaths now...)
Does anyone have any clue what needs to be done to get this to work???
