Musicmatch Jukebox 8.1

I recently installed Musicmatch Jukebox 8.1 on my computer running windows 98 second edition and cataloged my music collection into its system. Now when want to play the music I can drag it to my playlist or highlight a single song in the archive to play and the song data (title, album, length, and cover) will load but when I hit play the program freezes. In the close program box (ctrl+alt+del) it appears as not responding. Does anyone have and tips on what I should try to fix this problem?
