I've been using Audio Catalyst 2.1 for many years now, but since that version is from 1999, things are bound to have improved on the cd-ripping scene.

So, what cd-ripper is considered to be the best today when it comes to sound quality etc.? I'm intrested in both best free-ripper and buy-ripper.
