Which wav type?

I have some MP3s which I would like to convert to wav, and then burn. I will be using Cool Edit Pro, but I noticed Cool Edit will let you save files in several types of wav formats. Which one is correct for a "normal" audio cd, to be played on a stereo with only 2 channels. Thanks in advance!
