I just signed up with Audible.com and I was happy until I found out that I'll have to burn 8 CD's in order to play this one book in my truck (I would like to use the highest quality sound possible). Now, my truck has a very nice Alpine MP3 capable CD head unit and you might think that I would be able to save an audible file (.aa) to an MP3 or WMA format so that I can fit the whole thing on one disk.... Apparently not. I have tried everything possible so far without any luck. I guess that Audible "fixed" all the workarounds that have been described here with their latest software. I am really bummed out about this since I have no intention to distribute these files-I just want to use them in my own vehicle and not burn so many CD's. Do any of you know of any new workarounds by chance?
