Best prog 4 splitting MP3s??

Just started downloading cd length mp3s, which I have not really done before...

Have not been able to burn the split mp3s with no gaps, I mean there are no gaps, but there is still an audible glitch from track to track!

What are the best mp3 progs to split large files and have them connect again smoothly?
