: Does anyone know how I can record streaming "Real Audio" files (and convert them to MP3) with my mac/OS X? any leads/info would be greatly appriciated! : thanks! : adam An often overlooked low-tech and somewhat time consuming process, but it works: Download and install real player for osx Download and install sound studio for osx (demo available) go to radio shak and buy a patch cord that will go from your "speaker out" jack to your "microphone in" jack play from real player, record into sound studio sound studio records in aiff file format, but you can use itunes to convert it to mp3 Optionally, you can buy a "Y" adapter at radio shack to split your "speaker out" into 2 outputs. run one into mic in and the other into your speakers, so that you may listen and record at the same time. Make sure that play-through is disabled on sound studio if you do this.
