Burning cd full of MP3's for car use.

I have just purchased a Blaupunkt MP52 CD/MP3 player for my car. I have just created a CD by just copying the folders/files from my hard drive onto the CD. It plays ok in my home DVD player (which supports MP3) but the Blaupunkt won't play it. The manual recommends that 74min. CDR's are used, and also that colour makes a difference. Any ideas? I am downloading some dedicated burning software (Acoustica) to see it that helps.
