 Andrew Handrick
Born and presently residing in Dublin, Andrew Handrick has been writing songs for the past 10 years.

Andrew only stepped into the role of singer/guitarist in March of 2001, after having been the main songwriter in bands such as Grover and Booster.

As a founding member of these bands, Andrew was involved in playing at the following:
IMRO Showcase Night, Heineken Green Energy Band Challenge, Emergenza Band Competition, Limerick Expo, South East Music Seminar also recording a session for the Dave Fanning show on 2FM Radio.

His song 'Weirdo's Goodbye' was featured on the CD 'Futureproof II' Best of Irish, released through Danceline Records, and he has also contributed work to independent short Irish films.

Another of his compositions 'Stolen' made it into the Top 100 of the Bacardi/HotPress Songs of the Year 2002.

Influenced by everything from folk to alternative music, his songs ring out with experience, energy and a passion second to none.

Andrew recorded his first solo acoustic tracks at Elektra Studios, Dublin, last July, and has since played many gigs throughout Ireland.

Currently working on new material, Andrew can be seen performing at venues both in Dublin and throughout the country. He is moving to New York in November so look out for gigs there too.
